Wilderness camp2018-11-11T18:41:05+00:00

The forest guardian drew a circle around himself, and called out to the spirits to carry his words to his allies.

He raised a claw and a wolf’s fang, to hail the wild tribes.

He raised a crow’s wing, to call out to the witches of the night.

He raised a leaf before the pale moon light, to signal to the forest elves.

He sprinkled sand upon the winds, to whisper to the desert tribes.

Spirits came and went, carrying horns and scales, conches and branches.

The old pact, sealed with no words, calls upon them to pay their due to the wild.

“Wild!” called Nazar, the lord of wild camp.

“Awaken!”

Wandering spirits leave their hiding places, running nimbly and jovially between the trees and beasts, and with terrible shrieks leave the forest’s heart, the wild heart, whistling their song across the world to summon, gather and direct their allies.

“In not too long it shall begin anew… the hate and destruction already made their way here. The crystal war… The lord of the Wild calls upon you. Come my allies, rally to protect that which you hold dear. Let the wildness inside you lead the way…”

The wild lord sighs tiredly, as if drained.

“The damned war draws near, and once again we must protect that which we treasure. Wild, awaken me, open my eyes to how I am to lead your children with their hand on top yet again.”

Gnarled roots leave the earth to curl beneath the Wild lord, supporting him as he sat down. Better be comfortable while he waits for his allies at the heart of the forest, so he can lead them to war yet again.

The Wild awakens and the hard work begins!

Wild camp brings with it the agenda that we all have wilderness inside us, and those who have awakened it can be his allies.

Information on the different groups on wild camp is not too far behind, and each is unique. The wild camp is open to each and every one lore wise. Out of the game, however, we look for people who are willing to work hard, escort and guide others, and we have expectations of a high level, fun game!

You are all more than welcome to speak with me, each and every one of you who thinks the wild inside them is awake and wishes to be part of it, to open a new group in wild camp if you wish!

May the wild inside you be ever present.

The pirates

The pirates are open for recruits, with limited numbers!

The pirates are free, wild spirits, with lots of fun and humor, but also depth and seriousness.

This year we come back better and stronger, and with a heavier focus on roleplaying, inplay, and

visibility!

Please note- the players need to know English, and the group requires pre-preparations, both in

personal and group levels!

For inquiries, questions, or just cause you love us, the captains: Yoni Delien Gerber, Aya Ilan, Danielle Schaham

———————————————————————————–

The sea spray rose as mist as the waves hit the ‘Matilda’, clouds of droplets rising and refreshing

the souls standing on the deck in the early dawn.

The massive white sails bowed forward as they filled with a cool sea breeze, seagulls circling

above, calling their calls.

As one, the crew members of the ‘Matilda’ stood with their face to the rising sun and backs to

the ocean. They each held a single gold coin in their hand, their backs up against the railing.

“Are you ready? At the count of three- one, two-“

“Wait!!! Is it –at- three, or after the three?”

“Oh come on, its –at- three, we’ve been over this! We can’t repeat this every morning- oh, for

crying out loud, just focus! One, two, and- three!”

As one, the crew tossed the coin over their left shoulders and into the waves.

“All right, now that that there’s done, off to work! Crew, positions!”

“Aye captain!”

The crew each parted for their stations, laughing and light hearted, but driven.

The islands of Libertaria began to fall into the horizon as they gained speed, and the captain

looked skywards, at the seagulls and albatrosses circling above.

She felt the wind in her hair, the cries of the birds mixing with the rush of the waves.

The Wild called for them again.

And the free spirits, the pirates of Libertaria isles, rose up to the cal.

The fae tribe

Captains: Oren Ben Natan, Noga Even Zur

A sylvan tribe is a group of fae who live in the forest, where they spend their lives in accordance with traditions given from the great spirits of nature- the pantheon to which they adhere.

The village has courts according to seasons, and each court has a leader. Each fae belongs to one court or another.

Last year, we had a small presence, but this year the tribe comes back- big time!

Our playstyle is very open. The majority of the tribe is a supporting role, and we put a big emphasis on the knowledge and traditions of the tribe- and all that comes with it. Because of that, our main roles will be non- combative, and mostly priests, healers and magic users.

We recruit new and young players, whom we will escort until they are exemplary fae. The group focuses on a rich, inner gameplay. Of course, more experienced players are welcomed to join us, help our morale and the groups success, and become a role model for quality acting.

The group has a high appearance demand, but we are going to help our players make their kits and direct them to the general aesthetic of the group.

The group is mainly fae, but we will accept witches, spirits, elves and other forest creatures who wish to fight for the wild.

Well then, what are you waiting for?

Come with us and be part of something magical.

The village gathered by the ancient oak tree. The leaders stood above them, waiting for the last few to join them before they begin spreading their message as far as they can.

Lisorn Quilleaf, the village leader and head of the autumn court, stood upon the balcony. He seemed a bit stressed, his grip on the rail almost vice like. He cleared his throat a few times, and the whispers below stopped. They all looked up at Lisorn, waiting for his words.

“As you all remember,” he started, standing up a bit more straight, “we have already taken a part in one mineral war. And when I say we, I mean Rose Belle, my loyal priesthood trainee, and myself.”

Behind him, Rose-Belle- head of the spring court, and Soul-Bloom, head of the summer court, stood tall.

“But that was a mere ceremonial attendance. We have heard the wild lord call once more!” Lisorn continued.

“we have listened to the spirits of the forest and the woods themselves. This year we mean to come again. We care about these woods!”

The last words he yelled, and the crowd cheered and clapped.

“we are going to show iron camp who this forest belongs to, we will show Apocalypse the right way to victory, and we will show them all that the Fae can take their fate into their own hands!”

The crowd below got more and more excited as he continued.

Soul-Bloom approached the rail at last, signaling for the crowd to calm down.

“We will need everyone. The winter courts healers, the spring courts sorcerers, the autumn courts priests, the summer courts assassins- and of course, the scholars and warriors of the equinoxes and solstices. This time, this goes beyond ceremonial duties for us.”

Rose-Belle approached the balcony’s edge now.

“within a weeks time, our war ceremonies will be done and we shall leave the village in the direction of the wild camp. The fox and the raven stand with us. We shall not disappoint you.”

The three leaders leaned against the railing together.

“in the name of wild!” they called together.

“For freedom!” the village answered.

The White Crows

TL;DR:

The White Crows are open for recruits!

A group of freedom fighter who live in the woods, inspired by Robin Hood, the Scoia’tael, the Brotherhood Without Banners, the partisans, etc.
Emphasis on a band of brothers gameplay surrounding the war over the castle and in-group drama.

Inplay:
“The Forest has grew stronger.
You see it in the sky, you feel it in the wind.

And with it – the village.

Haven, the secret village that carries the banner of the white crow, the promised land for those with no other place to go, that it’s door is always open for the pure of hearts that have been shunned by the world, has flourished under the watchful eye of the Keeper of the Forest – Nazar.
With the growth of Have, so have the activity of the White Crows has peaked in it’s scope.
Wherever injustice is done, people prosecuted for the mere act of existing, slaves are being traded, nobles sit in their ivory towers while the commons are hungry for a piece of bread – there you will find the White Crows, who come from the deprived masses, striking hard against the machine that oppresses those who can’t push back, leaving behind the symbol of the white crow, the ultimate pariah, to the cheers of the crowd they just liberated.

The White Crow has been the symbol of of fear to the powers that be for a few years, but in the last 2 years, the frequency and fierceness of the actions performed under this banner has made him truly terrorizing – the men on women who carry the symbol of the white crow has become infamous for their feisty spirit, for there is nothing more fear inducing than a warrior with a just cause, and there is no cause more just than fixing the world, one battle at a time.
The price on the White Crows’ heads have been rising all the time, but this is merely dust, for they have found a power that even the Iron Legions can’t defeat – a home in each other’s arms.
A true brotherhood, the type of which can only manifest in those whose true home is in each other, for all other homes have failed them.

Haven is not a place, it’s an idea, and ideas are arrow proof.
So say it with me – no more!
Stand up!
Push back!
Take a stand, and fix the world!”

Offplay:

As said, the White Crows are a group of warriors, who are among the spearhead of the Wilde army.
Lots of gameplay around the war, politics, drama and shady business.
The people who find themselves in the Crows are from the edges of society, the bottom of the human barrel, that have suffered from the wrongs of the world,
Rejects, misfits and pariahs,
This is a fertile ground for a special type of self expression in the characters that make the group, and of course a lot of interesting inner discussion – how far will we go? does the end justify the means? etc.
The group fits every type of character, as long as there is mutual understanding that we are playing around the struggle for the castle.
Group requirement:
A larp-safe weapon, armor, and the white crow symbol somewhere on the kit.

So…
Can you hear the people sing?

The Revenant

TLDR

Undead’s in the wild, the spirit of the wild called those who fell to rise up and fight by his side in the coming of the mineral war.

_______________________________________________

” spirit of the wild calls thee

You who fell in his kingdom”

The whisper that echoed through the waves of the sea, through the trees of the forest and through the sands of the desert.

“ You who hurt his kingdom

Spirit of the wild calls you”

Men did not hear the whisper, neither did the birds of the sky and the beasts of the land, but is was heard, by the ears of those who it was meant for.

Those who laid in the wilds and waited silently for the day that the wild will call upon them, for the day their service will be needed once again, to be given a new purpose by the spirit of the wild.

“To rise and fight with him

To rise and defend him

To rise and avange him.

Death is not the end

Nor the beginning

It is to continue”

They’ve risen after eons which they laid there waiting. They’ve risen under the great trees, they’ve risen in the nameless deserts, they’ve risen on the peaks of the frozen mountains, they rose up and started marching.

The wild spirit called them, and so they answered.

“what is dead may never die, but will rise stronger”

The Revenant is recruiting!

We are looking for players who are looking to play undeads, for warriors who fell in the wilds and the Wild spirit rose them from the dead to fight along him in the coming mineral war. We are looking for warriors but there is also room for non fighting characters.

The gear requirements for the group are weathering and distressed clothes, heavy armor (only for fighting characters) with wild features (rusty, dent, runes, plants etc, shiny armors will not be allowed), latex weapons and a rich, unique and high rollplay.

Of course the captains will help anyone who needs help to keep up with any of the gear requirements.

There is no requirement for a shared background story, we all lived different lives and died, death is what brings us together abd there is alot of room for characters from different backgrounds.

The Vellai-Cree

The Vellai-Cree are recruiting!
A tribal group with strong influences of Native American tribes, Celts and Nords, with wild elements like partial Beast and Nature as part of the character design. We aim to represent the Wild camp by our theme, costumes and roleplay, and also strive to act the character’s daily routine and role (For example – Warriors will train and have their pre-battle rituals, Shamans would give spiritual guidance etc)

The group is welcoming for a wide variety of players, and offers a wide variety of roleplaying and character types, as well as offering guidance on the matter for those who need it.

We’ll be happy to recruit players of every experience level, but do keep in mind that this group will require a somewhat-high level of effort in outfits, character development and combat practice if you’re playing a fighting character.

Can you hear the spirits of the forest calling your name? Send a message to Tamir Murdoc Dafnic Dafni or Ido Eliakim

The looked exhausted, their bodies decorated by numerous fresh scars – Each bears its own tale, but the thing that truly kept the tribesmen restless was observing the new ‘gifts’ those three have received.

The first of them was Kato, cracking a weary smile towards her friends, proud of her newly-grown fangs and pointed ears.

“Welcome back!” Called the Shaman at her sight, carefully patting her back with his heavy claws. “The spirits have granted you sharpened ears so you can hear any prey or foe, and the strong fangs of a predator! You’re going to have plenty of opportunities to prove yourself as a hunter, and a warrior.”

The second was Oji. He seemed more shy and modest than Kato, and the broken, blood-stained spear he carried told the beginning of his tale, while his cat-like eyes and wolven snot told its end.
“It is good to see you, Oji!” Smiled the Shaman. “I see the spirits have blessed us with a new, talented healer – Your heightened scent would help you with finding healing herbs and rare roots! But, there was another one with you, wasn’t there? Where is Osage?”

The third person did not join his two friend in the front.
The Shaman has spotted a strange figure behind one of the trees. “It is okay, Osage. You may step forward.”

To the… Thing, that stepped from behind the woods, one couldn’t really call human any longer.

Above a pair of sunken, empty eyes, were found menacing deer horns. The skin on his chest was torn and ripped apart, exposing a new ribcage, made of branches and vines, that held the rest of his organs in their place. His arms were now made of stone stalactites, and two massive, plucked eagle wings grew on his back.

The Shaman’s smile was abandoned in favour of a more serious, perhaps somewhat-worried expression. He walked to the boy, embracing him, carefully trying not to claw his back. “The spirits have spoken. You are going to be the greatest Shaman this tribe has seen in 20 years!”
And thus, the Shaman has sent the boy to the gathering crowd, to the sounds of joy, celebration, flutes and drums.

When the crowd has finally disbanded, the old Shaman called one of the kinsmen, a man with goat-like legs.
“Run to the northern tribe… Tell the Shaman called Narraganset there’s a war coming. The Forest is calling us.”
